Can Publishers Survive in the Post-PC World?

Mobile is a tiny market but it’s growing quickly, and with Smartphone proliferation that grows in popularity, advertisers in effect made a shift towards mobile to acquire revenue, said lead industry analyst and media specialist Agata Kaczanowska. In a compiled data from, it revealed that mobile made up advertising revenue from newspaper publishers. More than a million Irish people now open to mobile ads - study The number of Irish adults who own a smartphone has jumped by 20pc to 750,000 since the end of 2010, according to a new study, which also suggests that more than a million people are open to mobile ads, and that there is increasing openness to location-based advertising.
